But i you wanna read what the others think about the books, just google the name of the books. If you like any of them i can lend you, if you are in Brisbane or maybe in 4 months when i am back in Ankara. B A S A K at 1:04 PM (0) comments This is the satelitte picture of Tropical Cyclone, Monica. This time, it will hit Darwin. But before Monica, in 1974, Cyclone Tracy flattened Darwin during xmas and many families lost their houses and kids lost their xmas presents. That's the reason they call it "Tracy, the bitch" I hope this Monica Lady will not be as nuts as Tracy. You'd better behave, Missy!B-e-h-a-v-e!
B A S A K at 2:03 PM (0) comments After 2 years, i am ready to join another AIESEC conference, but this time on a different continent. In a few hours, i will jump on the ferry, carrying my pillow in one hand and my blanket on the other, my backpack full of jumpers and surf on the tiny waves of Brisbane river to meet the AIESECers, before we hit the road for the state conference. I am so thrilled by the motivation and dedication of these young fellas here. Especially my second LC- QUT:) I know i don't write about AIESEC here a lot, but after 2 years, i am back with the motivation and excitement of AIESEC. I am so touched by the passion of Jess! Nicole, Emma. It's so exciting to see blue aiesecers around me again. Keep up the good work, guys! Good on you, mate! B A S A K at 11:59 AM (1) comments

B A S A K at 12:55 PM (0) comments Latest Update from bO-Land Yep there is another long holiday, ! What can I say, that' s what we, all have been waiting for since xmas. This time, I decided to be more organised about that long holiday, not to end up regretting and wasting these precious days, like the last time, so I decided to go to Straddie and stay at backpackers. But then I was so tempted by the idea of getting rollerblades and cancelled my bookings. Yep, I have finally bought a pair of inline skates, I will try to skate during the whole Easter break. This may be my last post:p hahaha:) ok I won't try to pull out a big drama, but it's so likely that I might get injured, fall of the bridge or fall in to the Brisbane River and get eaten by the baby sharks. Apart from it, last weekend I played golf. Once you manage to hit the ball, it's serious fun:) But I need to practice it more. But I guess Eric didn't enjoyed it as much as I did. Maybe I smashed his clubs on the ground for couple of times:( oops!... Whatever! The whole massage in that post is not actually to tell what I will be and what i have been up to, it’s more to tell that I am trying to get a healthier and more sporty life. I know, I know, it does not sound like me, but I dunno. We'll see how long will it last this time. Oh, a few more things about my Easter plans. I will be playing bowling ( training with my workmates for the Corporate Games) and treasure hunt in the city, followed by a barbie. Tomorrow, if I can manage to find an outfit for the horse races, I will be at Eagle Farm. If there will be any money left, I hope to visit my little heaven, DFO! It's a huge outlet just near by the airport.. As you can see I am investing all my money on my social capital:) It looks like it's gonna be pretty full on this holiday, but then again, I cannot make sure that I will not end up doing anything. That's still a big possibility that I cannot ignore. yep, I am LAZY and I LOVE lazy days:) Have a good one, everyone:) B A S A K at 2:11 PM (0) comments

Brisbane at night time:) When i was a kid, i used to things there was a huge wedding party with loads of funky lights, every time we were driving around the city. Now I am leaving in these huge open air gallery, right in the heart of the city. Know the reason why we decorated this ugly piece of concrete. But quite frankly, I do really apriciate the contemporary Aussie Architecture. B A S A K at 10:46 AM (0) comments |
